The ^rchetypal is back after a short time away. In that time we have built a few fonts for people which re-ignited our love for type. So we have been busy crafting our new » EL SANTOS « font as our come back album.

After 3 years of designing bespoke glyphs, The Archetypal has decided to close it's doors to commercially releasing our typefaces. This will allow us to concentrate on the next chapter of our journey...
Type^ Application^ Environment^.
T^A^E is an exploration of the application of type in relation to material and environment. It will follow on from some of our works with UNIT (see images) and result in an exhibition in early 2011.
The project is still in the planning stage, and as the foundations are laid we will release more info.
